1. Terms of Service
By accessing and using the Downmonitor infrastructure ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.
1.1 Service Usage: You agree to use the Service only for lawful monitoring of endpoints you own or have explicit permission to monitor. Abuse of the scanning infrastructure will result in immediate termination.
1.2 Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime as per our SLAs, the Service is provided "AS IS". We are not liable for any downtime of your services that goes undetected due to catastrophic infrastructure failure.
2. Privacy Policy
We collect minimal data required to operate the service.
- Account credentials (encrypted)
- Monitoring configurations (URLs, intervals)
- Alerting contacts (Email, SMS numbers)
- Payment metadata (handled by Stripe)
We do NOT sell your data. Your monitoring logs are retained according to your plan limits and then securely purged.
